wondering if documents could take place of statistics to prove the well being of Deaf when allowed to be fully Deaf. Documents such as: Jewish records, vatican records, historical records of Deaf artists, Ottoman Court attendents, etc like Ladd mentions later in the book. Just wondering – being the documentary-minded person I am – I like seeing historical proof applied to current times.
